Super Resize App Reviews
who knows
Tried to resize one image as a trial. Instead, the purchase pane shows up and you can’t try without buying !
Please add a canvas size adjustment.
Nice and simple, but unfortunately it is not possible to change canvas size.
I’m constantly needing to resize images for various purposes in my work. I’ve lost count on how many resizing apps I’ve tried over the years, but since purchasing this app a few months ago I haven’t opened any other when resizing images. Everyone has different needs for this type of app and it fills the bill for me. The three most important things I look for are image quality, the ability to resize by the longest or shortest dimension (regardless of image orientation-and I can’t believe how many apps don’t support this) and color profile support. Super Resize is great on the first two and OK on the third. It has no option to honor the attached profile, but it at least converts to sRGB which is what I need most of the time.
I downloaded the free version to try it out and then happily bought the full version. Quick and very easy. Has more features than I am using and I look forward to exploring them. I just had so many photos that were eating up space and they did not need to be so large. Be aware that the free version only lets you convert one photo at a time. The full version let’s you do batches.
This limited version of the app says it is free for single-image sharing and that I can try it with no limitation, but that I need to pay for the full version to save multi-image batches. I am working on one single image and it will not allow me to save the resized version to see how well it will work for me. I have tried to visit Super Resize Support as recommended above it just takes you to a page where you can download the app again. To be clear - I would have happily bought the full app if I could have proved it would work for me.
I really wanted to like this program, as it intends to do just exactly what I need — namely, to prepare high-quality photos for web gallery display, with resizing, sharpening and renaming options. However, after each successful export, this application becomes unstable and unusable (the display is disfigured and distorted), and one needs to close the application and restart it again. This is on a MacBook Pro Retina 15", with OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 and all current updates. Disappointing!
Working well
I just bought v1.0.1 and it does the job well, I see none of the problems in earlier reviews. Very handy app.
Best of the bunch

Great Idea, But Problematic Execution
